Our chicken eggs are from a  Certified Animal Welfare Approved flock. Animal Welfare Approved is a third party auditor that comes to our farm yearly to inspect conditions of the birds. They have the highest standards in the industry for farm animal welfare. Chickens must be raised in such a way as to let them exhibit their natural behaviors with free ranging, lots of space, no beak or toe trimming, etc. You will see their seal of approval on our products insuring you that you are purchasing from a sustainable family farm that practices these high standards with humane treatment. Other  farms may say humanely raised, but you have no guarantee without the label. We are proud to be a member of this fine organization.
